Yes we do, in fact, as a creative agency, it’s become our primary area of focus. But the lines are becoming more and more blurred with television and film. For example our work on Netflix has included both feature films and documentary films as well as television series. But all under the category of motion graphics.

It’s a very good question. Dinnick & Howells in its original form was a graphic design agency. But since relocating to the UK (originally a Canadian studio) we have focussed primarily on motion graphics.
Having said that, yes, we still do graphic design and branding when clients request it. We also do key art for film’s posters and marketing materials, which really helps with consistency of approach, when we are also designing motion graphics that appear within the film itself, such as the Main Titles.

We often describe ourselves as creative chameleons, and by that we mean we don’t have a house style which we impose on every project. Instead we change our approach (as a chameleon changes it’s colour) based on each and every brief, each and every client and each and every film/series. And that means we are constantly stretching, exploring and challenging ourselves. We think this brings out the best in us, and expands our versatility as a creative agency.

While we don’t brag about it (except here!) yes we have. Our work on a number of Netflix and National Geographic films and series have garnered several awards, including Collision Awards, AI-AP Awards, The Telly Awards and the Communication Arts awards.
We’d like to think our work stacks up with the best, and we take pride in these awards as a validation of that. We are grateful to our production company clients who bring great projects to our doorstep, and who expect and challenge us to deliver the best we can offer. -
D&H is a small motion graphics studio, which has a regular team of 6-8 designers, artists, 3D modellers and animators.
We are a remote work based company, and all of our team work in the comfort of their own spaces. The advantages of this are innumerable, and we feel we get the best from our team this way.
